KARACHI: The Pak Rupee ended flat against US dollar on Thursday amid lackluster demand for import and corporate payments.
The rupee ended Rs138.93 to the dollar from previous day’s close of Rs138.92 in interbank foreign exchange market.
The interbank foreign exchange market was initiated in the range of Rs138.92 and Rs138.95.
The market recorded day high of Rs138.93 and low of Rs138.90 and closed at Rs138.93.
Currency experts said that the market was anticipating foreign inflows in the shape of investment from Saudi Arabia and other friendly countries in coming days.
In open market the exchange rate were also remained stable.
The buying and selling of dollar was recorded at Rs13.60/Rs139.10 from previous day’s close of Rs138.60/Rs139.20 in cash free market.
