KARACHI: The Pak Rupee gained five paisas against US dollar on Wednesday owing to improved sentiments on expected foreign inflows.
The rupee gained five paisas to end at Rs128.23 to the dollar from previous close of Rs138.28 on February 04, 2019 in interbank foreign exchange market.
The market was closed yesterday on account of Kashmir Solidarity Day announced by the government as a holiday.
On Wednesday the interbank foreign exchange market was initiated in the band of Rs138.25 and Rs138.30.
The market recorded a high of Rs138.30 and low of Rs138.22 and closed at Rs138.23.
The exchange rate in open market also moved in favor of Pak Rupee.
The buying and selling of dollar was recorded at Rs137.80/Rs138.30 from previous closing of Rs138.00/Rs138.40 in cash free market.
