KARACHI: The rupee gained strengthened by five paisas against dollar on Thursday owing to inflows of remittances and export receipts, dealers told PkRevenue.com.
The rupee gained five paisas to end at Rs138.86 to the dollar in interbank foreign exchange market as compared with previous day’s close of Rs138.91.
The interbank foreign exchange market was initiated in the range of Rs138.89 and Rs138.93. The market recorded day high of Rs138.89 and low of Rs138.85 and closed at Rs138.86.
The exchange rate in open market was remained stable. The buying and selling of dollar was recorded at Rs138.70 / Rs139.00 from previous day’s closing of Rs138.60/Rs139.00.
