US dollar eases in early trading

KARACHI: The US dollar eases in the interbank foreign exchange market in early trading on Wednesday.

The exchange rate in the foreign currency market was at Rs138.25 to the dollar in early trading.

The foreign exchange market was ended at Rs138.28 to the dollar on Monday.

Today the market was opened after the holiday on account of Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 5, 2019.

Currency dealers said that importers and corporate buyers had already taken advanced for their payments. Therefore, the rupee was seen at the comfortable level.
