President reconstitutes National Finance Commission

ISLAMABAD: The President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi has re-constituted the National Finance Commission (NFC), which consists of 10 members.

 

 

According to a notification issued by the Finance Division on Friday, the federal finance minister has been nominated as chairman of the NFC. While all finance minister of provincial governments are appointed as members.

Further four economists have been included in the commission to represent the provinces. Dr. Salman Shah will represent Punjab, Asad Syed (Sindh), Muhsarraf Rasool Cyan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), and Mahfooz Ali Kha (Balochistan).

The federal finance secretary will represent as official expert to the commission.
