Alibaba introduces AI-powered digital workforce platform for SMEs at export summit in Sialkot
Alibaba has launched Accio Work in Pakistan, an artificial intelligence-powered platform aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in export operations and digital trade.
The launch was announced during the “Future of Export AI Leadership Summit 2026” held in Sialkot on Saturday, which brought together exporters, entrepreneurs and business leaders to discuss emerging trends in e-commerce, artificial intelligence and cross-border trade.
The summit, hosted at Legacy by Sheraton, featured speakers from Alibaba.com, including Roger Luo, Summer Gao and Ethan Wang.
Addressing participants, Ethan Wang introduced Accio Work as an “Agentic Business Team for SMEs,” describing it as an autonomous digital platform capable of supporting exporters in multiple business functions.
“Accio Work is not just a software tool, it is the Agentic Business Team for SMEs,” Wang said during the event.
He explained that the platform integrates with Alibaba.com and provides services including market research, creative content generation, customer engagement, store diagnostics and operational support.
According to Wang, the AI-powered platform combines various specialized “Agent Skills” within a unified workspace to help businesses improve efficiency and competitiveness in international markets.
Roger Luo said Alibaba.com had strengthened digital trade infrastructure through trade assurance and logistics expansion initiatives and was now focusing on equipping exporters with AI-driven business solutions.
He added that Pakistani exporters in sectors such as textiles, sports goods and surgical instruments could particularly benefit from the technology platform.
The summit also focused on digital transformation, export strategies, evolving global trade trends and opportunities for Pakistani businesses through e-commerce platforms.
Participants discussed the growing role of artificial intelligence and innovation in sustainable business growth and cross-border trade development.
A large number of exporters, manufacturers and young entrepreneurs attended the event and welcomed efforts aimed at bringing international expertise and advanced digital trade solutions to Sialkot.
Organizers described the summit as an important step toward promoting Pakistan’s digital exports and strengthening the country’s presence in the global e-commerce sector.
