Apple TV+ has achieved a record-breaking milestone, securing 72 Emmy Award nominations across 16 of its original series.
This is the highest number of nominations Apple TV+ has ever received, marking a significant triumph for the streaming service.
Among the nominated series, “Lessons in Chemistry” received its first-ever nomination for Outstanding Limited Series, while “The Morning Show” and “Slow Horses” were recognized in the Outstanding Drama Series category. “Palm Royale” also garnered a nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series.
“The Morning Show,” which explores the high-stakes world of morning news, led with 16 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series and acting nominations for stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. This marks the first nomination for Best Drama for the show, highlighting its critical acclaim and popularity in its third season.
“Lessons in Chemistry,” set in the 1950s, follows the journey of a female scientist and earned 10 nominations. Brie Larson, Lewis Pullman, and Aja Naomi King were all nominated for their performances.
“Slow Horses,” a darkly comedic espionage drama, received nine nominations. Gary Oldman was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, while Jack Lowden and Jonathan Pryce were recognized in the supporting and guest actor categories, respectively.
In the comedy realm, “Palm Royale,” which tells the story of a woman’s attempt to infiltrate high society, received 11 nominations. Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph were nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Apple’s documentary offerings also received significant recognition. “STEVE! (martin) a documentary in 2 pieces” and “Girls State” both earned nominations for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special. Additionally, “The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy” was nominated for Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special.

The winners of the 76th Emmy Awards will be announced on September 15. As anticipation builds, Apple TV+ and its nominated shows stand out as strong contenders in the race for television’s highest honors.
