Pop star Ariana Grande has exited the cast of American Horror Story Season 13 after scheduling conflicts with her ongoing Eternal Sunshine world tour, according to a report by Variety.
The singer had previously been announced for a small role in the upcoming season of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology series.
Tour commitments force Ariana Grande to leave series
According to the report, Grande’s concert schedule conflicted with the production timetable for American Horror Story Season 13, leading her to withdraw from the project.
The Grammy-winning singer launched her Eternal Sunshine Tour on June 6, 2026, with performances scheduled across multiple cities.
She is also preparing to release her eighth studio album, Petal, on July 31, 2026, adding to her packed professional calendar.
Ariana Grande had expressed excitement about the role
Grande’s involvement in the series was first revealed during Halloween 2025, when she confirmed she had accepted a small part in the new season.
At the time, she said she was excited to join the long-running FX drama, although she noted she could not reveal details about her character.
“I’ll probably have a very tiny thing to do in it, but I’ll be grateful to be a part of it because I love everyone in it,” Grande said following the announcement.
