Television personality Ariana Madix has dismissed speculation about her future with the Love Island franchise, confirming that she intends to continue as host following the success of the show’s record-breaking eighth season.
Rumours regarding Madix’s possible departure emerged after she posted a TikTok video on July 13 reflecting on the cast’s final glam session of the season. A fan subsequently asked whether the recently concluded season would be her last as host.
Responding directly to the comment, Madix wrote, “Why would it be,” effectively shutting down suggestions that she was preparing to leave the popular reality dating series.
Return Confirmed for Love Island Games
Madix also confirmed that she will continue hosting within the broader Love Island franchise.
The host is set to return for the third season of Love Island Games, which has been renewed and is scheduled to return in 2027.
In addition, she will host the Love Island USA Season 8 reunion, which is scheduled to air on August 31.
Hosting Role Remains a Passion
Speaking about her experience on the programme, Madix said hosting has become one of her most rewarding professional opportunities.
She compared appearing on the show to performing live, describing the role as an exciting creative outlet that allows her to engage closely with contestants.
“It really feels like I’m going out on stage every time,” Madix said, adding that she enjoys building connections with Islanders each season and could see herself remaining in the role for the foreseeable future.
