KARACHI: The Pak Rupee made significant gain against dollar on Friday ahead of the visit of Saudi Crown Prince, which was as per the government announcement bulk of investment treaties may be signed.
The rupee gained 10 paisas to end at Rs138.83 to the dollar from previous day’s close of Rs138.93 in interbank foreign exchange market.
The Saudi Crown Prince is visiting Pakistan from February 16, 2019 for two days.
The market is expecting agreements of huge investment would be signed during his visit.
The interbank foreign exchange market was initiated in the range of Rs138.92 and Rs138.95.
The market recorded day high of Rs138.92 and low of Rs138.82 and closed at Rs138.83.
In open market the exchange rate was stable.
The buying and selling of dollar was recorded at Rs138.60/ Rs139.10 the same previous day’s closing level in cash free market.
