KARACHI: The Pak Rupee strengthened against dollar on Thursday owing to many incentives announced in the reform package by the government.
The rupee gained four paisas to end at Rs138.89 to the dollar from previous day’s closing of Rs138.93 in interbank foreign exchange market.
The interbank foreign exchange market was initiated in the range of Rs138.90 and Rs138.93.
The market recorded day high of Rs138.90 and low of Rs138.88 and closed at Rs138.89.
The rupee also gained 20 paisas to the dollar in open market.
Buying and selling of dollar was recorded at Rs138.80/Rs139.30 from previous day’s closing of Rs139.00/Rs139.50 in cash free market.
