Bazarcha Border, Taftan declared Pakistan Customs Port

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has officially declared Bazarcha Border Terminal, Taftan, as a Pakistan Customs Board for the efficient clearance of goods.

This significant development is aimed at streamlining the loading, unloading, and clearance processes for imported and exported goods at the designated customs-station.

In an official announcement, the FBR issued SRO 427(I)/2022, designating Bazarcha Border Terminal, Taftan, which spans across 30 acres of land, as a customs-port for the specified purposes. The customs-station is situated in proximity to key geographical landmarks:

• North: Christian Colony, FC Qilla, and Railway Line (Latitude-28°58’12.75348″N, Longitude-61°33’21.09492″E)

• South: Zero Point Gate (Latitude-28°58’3 .08028″N, Longitude-61°33’28.5624″E)

• East: Tube Well of Haji Akbar (Latitude-28°58’5.00736″N, Longitude-61°33’45.05796″E)

• West: Iran Border (Latitude-28°58’8.472″N, Longitude-61°33’18.81648″E)

According to the FBR, the designated entry and exit point for vehicles will be from the western side of Bazarcha Border Terminal at a specified point (Latitude-28°58’8.472″N, Longitude-61°33’18.81648″E). This border crossing point is exclusively dedicated to cargo vehicles, ensuring a streamlined and secure process for the movement of goods.

The declaration of Bazarcha Border Terminal, Taftan, as a customs board aligns with the FBR’s commitment to enhancing the efficiency of customs operations and facilitating trade.
