Brad Pitt, Clooney ‘Wolfs’ Sequel Confirmed Before Release

Hollywood icons Brad Pitt and George Clooney are set to reunite in the upcoming action-comedy film Wolfs, and even before its release, the film has already secured a sequel.

According to reports from a leading entertainment outlet, Apple Studios has struck a deal with filmmaker Jon Watts to write, direct, and produce the follow-up to Wolfs, further expanding the franchise before audiences have even seen the first installment.

Wolfs marks the highly anticipated return of Brad Pitt and Clooney as co-stars after a 16-year hiatus. The last time these two Hollywood heavyweights shared the screen was in the 2008 black comedy Burn After Reading, directed by Joel and Ethan Coen.

Fans have eagerly awaited their reunion, and it appears Apple Studios is confident enough in the film’s success to commit to a sequel ahead of time.

The film’s plot centers around two professional fixers, Nick ( Brad Pitt) and Jack (Clooney), who usually prefer to work solo.

However, they find themselves forced to collaborate when they are both hired to cover up the same high-profile crime. This dynamic sets the stage for an action-packed and comedic adventure, with the two leads bringing their signature charisma to the roles.

Apple Original Films’ chief, Matt Dentler, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Wolfs is the kind of big event movie that makes Apple TV+ such an exceptional home for the best in entertainment.”

In addition to Brad Pitt and Clooney, the film boasts a strong supporting cast, including Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, Poorna Jagannathan, Richard Kind, and Zlatko Burić.

Wolfs is slated to make its world premiere out of competition at the 81st Venice Film Festival before receiving a limited theatrical release on September 20, followed by a streaming debut on Apple TV+ just a week later. With a sequel already in the works, Wolfs is poised to become one of the most talked-about films of the year.
