Manager Roberto De Zerbi expressed his enthusiasm about acquiring Dahoud, revealing that he had been eyeing the player during his tenure at Sassuolo. De Zerbi believes Dahoud will significantly contribute to the team and expects him to become a key player for Brighton.

Technical director David Weir commended Dahoud’s abilities, emphasizing his extensive experience playing at high levels in Germany and in European competitions.

In addition to the exciting signing of Mahmoud Dahoud, Brighton recently made another noteworthy acquisition by bringing in 37-year-old midfielder James Milner. Milner, who left Liverpool as a free agent, will provide Brighton with his wealth of experience.

Brighton’s upcoming season is set to be particularly remarkable as they make their debut in European competition. Securing a sixth-place finish in the Premier League has earned them a spot in the Europa League, generating even more anticipation and excitement for the team’s upcoming campaign.
