BTS star Jin shares heartfelt message as the group celebrates its 13th anniversary following their return from military service.
Jin has marked BTS’ 13th anniversary with a warm message to fans, expressing gratitude to the group’s global fanbase, known as ARMY, as celebrations continue following the band’s return from military service.
After fans shared an outpouring of support and well-wishes on the group’s first anniversary since completing enlistment, the 31-year-old singer took to Instagram to thank supporters for their continued loyalty.
Posting on his official account, the eldest member of BTS shared a photo of himself wearing sunglasses and pointing towards a text overlay reading “Happy Birthday BTS!”
In his caption, Jin wrote: “Thank you for the birthday wishes. Our ARMY is the best.”
He added, “Let’s stay together in the future,” before concluding with a playful message: “A kiss of gratitude.”
The anniversary comes as BTS continue to reconnect with fans following their return from mandatory military service. The group — comprising RM, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga and V — recently wrapped a two-night concert stand in Busan.
The shows drew an estimated 220,000 fans to Asiad Main Stadium, where the group performed high-energy hits including Dynamite and Fire, alongside fan favourites such as Dimple and Magic Shop.
For Busan-born members Jimin and Jungkook, the performance carried added emotional weight, marking a return to the stage in their hometown for the first time since 2022, prior to their military enlistments.
The concert featured several light-hearted and unscripted moments, including Jin and Jungkook playfully chasing each other on stage, as well as V and Jungkook sharing whispered exchanges during the performance, reflecting the group’s renewed camaraderie.
The tour is expected to continue across multiple cities through 2027, signalling a long-awaited full-scale reunion era for BTS and their global fanbase.
