Capital Smart Motors is preparing to commence deliveries of the JMEV EV3 electric hatchback in Pakistan, following the recent arrival of its market-ready units. Although the model had been announced previously, its latest development indicates that customers may soon receive their vehicles.

The company has also teased the upcoming delivery phase, signalling that the wait for the compact electric car is nearing its end. Capital Smart Motors highlighted the EV3 as a technology-focused vehicle designed to offer a smarter approach to everyday mobility.

The development comes as electric vehicles continue to gain attention in Pakistan, particularly in the compact-car segment where buyers are increasingly looking for alternatives to conventional petrol-powered vehicles.

Two Variants Available

The JMEV EV3 is available in two variants, namely Comfort and Premium. The Comfort variant is priced at Rs4,899,999, while the Premium variant carries a price tag of Rs4,999,999.

Both versions share the same core mechanical specifications. The hatchback measures 3,720 mm in length, 1,640 mm in width and 1,535 mm in height, with a 2,390 mm wheelbase. It has a curb weight of 1,060 kg and accommodates up to four passengers.

Battery, Range and Performance

Power comes from a 50 kW electric motor producing 125 Nm of torque. The front-wheel-drive EV uses an LFP battery pack with a capacity of 30.24 kWh.

According to its listed specifications, the EV3 offers a 330 km CLTC range on a full charge and has a top speed of 102 km/h. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

Charging and Warranty

The JMEV EV3 supports both AC and DC charging through a CCS2 connection, giving owners multiple charging options.

Capital Smart Motors lists a vehicle warranty of three years or 60,000 km, while the battery is covered for eight years or 120,000 km.

With deliveries expected soon, the JMEV EV3 could add further competition to Pakistan’s growing electric vehicle market.
