Cardi B had fans laughing and nodding in agreement after opening up about a relatable parenting moment during her recent appearance at Revolve Festival 2025.
The rapper shared her surprisingly calm reaction to daughter Kulture doodling on one of her prized possessions — a $60,000 Hermès Birkin bag.
Speaking exclusively to The Rundown’s Erin Lim Rhodes on April 12, Cardi explained that she was more focused on her daughter’s honesty than the designer price tag. “I was like, ‘Kulture, did you doodle on mommy’s purse?’ and she goes, ‘Yeah! Did you like it?’” Cardi recalled, laughing. “I couldn’t even be mad. It was too cute.”
Despite her love for high-end fashion, Cardi admitted she’s having second thoughts about the idea of passing down her designer handbags. “Sometimes I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’ll pass it down to my kids,’ but then I think, ‘Maybe I’ll just wear it when I’m an old b—h,’” Cardi joked, clearly enjoying the moment of self-reflection.
In addition to navigating motherhood, Cardi is also diving deeper into the world of fashion and beauty. She recently unveiled a new brand collaboration with Revolve Group, one that mirrors her bold aesthetic while emphasizing everyday comfort and fit. “If it’s a size small, it should fit like a real small,” Cardi told Women’s Wear Daily, stressing her desire to offer clothing that actually works for real people.
Balancing her music career, entrepreneurial ventures, and parenting isn’t easy, and Cardi admitted that celebrity-led brands are under intense scrutiny. “We have to come in strong,” she said, referring to the high expectations that come with launching fashion or beauty lines as a public figure.
Still, Cardi is embracing every part of her journey—whether it’s chasing business goals or cleaning up after her mini Picasso. With her signature wit, honesty, and hustle, Cardi continues to carve out her own space in every industry she touches.
