Karachi, July 13, 2023 – Karachi Port witnessed the berthing of six ships, each serving different purposes. The details of these ships are as follows:

EVA MANILA – This vessel is a tanker.

SC HONGKONG – Another tanker ship.

YONG XING – A lift carrier.

WAN HAI 627 – A container ship.

AQUARIUS HONOR – A general cargo ship.

SOFIA EXPRESS – A container ship.

There are two ships expected to sail from Karachi Port on the 13th of July 2023. The ships are VANCOUVER and SOFIA EXPRESS.

CARGO HANDLING TURNOVER

Within the last 24 hours, Karachi Port handled a total of 124,994 metric tons of cargo. The breakdown indicates that 35,675 metric tons were exported, while 89,319 metric tons were imported during this period. The cargo handling turnover for various commodities is as follows:

Containerized Cargo: 43,606 metric tons imported and 26,583 metric tons exported, totaling 70,189 metric tons.

Bulk Cargo: 8,767 metric tons imported and 1,402 metric tons exported, totaling 10,169 metric tons.

Canola: 1,817 metric tons imported.

Cement: 5,740 metric tons exported.

Lentils: 514 metric tons imported.

Oil & Liquid Cargo: 34,615 metric tons imported and 1,950 metric tons exported, totaling 36,565 metric tons.
