Chery Master Pakistan increases hybrid vehicle prices by up to Rs2.06 million

Sales tax revision pushes up Chery Tiggo PHEV prices, while a limited-time discount offer reduces the immediate impact for buyers until July 31, 2026.

Chery Master Pakistan has announced a significant increase in the prices of its plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), with revisions reaching as high as Rs2.055 million.

According to the company, the latest price adjustment has been made due to the increase in sales tax applicable to hybrid vehicles, resulting in higher retail prices across its Tiggo PHEV lineup.

Despite the revised prices, the automaker has also introduced a limited-time savings offer to provide temporary relief to customers. The promotional discounts will remain valid until July 31, 2026, after which buyers will have to pay the full revised prices.

Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV Gets Rs1.45 Million Price Increase

The Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV has received a price increase of Rs1,450,000, taking its price from Rs9,499,000 to Rs10,949,000.

However, under the company’s temporary promotional offer, customers can purchase the SUV for Rs9,999,000 until July 31, 2026. This means buyers will still pay Rs500,000 more than the previous retail price despite receiving a Rs950,000 discount.

Chery Tiggo 8 PHEV Price Revised

The Chery Tiggo 8 PHEV has also become more expensive, with its price rising from Rs11,299,000 to Rs12,999,000, reflecting an increase of Rs1,700,000.

For a limited period, the vehicle is being offered at Rs11,499,000, thanks to a Rs1,500,000 promotional discount. Even after this concession, customers will still pay Rs200,000 more compared to the previous price.

Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV Sees Biggest Increase

The largest adjustment has been applied to the flagship Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV. Its price has climbed from Rs13,694,000 to Rs15,749,000, representing an increase of Rs2,055,000.

As part of the promotional campaign, the SUV is currently available for Rs14,299,000, reflecting a Rs1,450,000 discount. Even with the offer, buyers will still pay Rs605,000 more than the earlier price.

Limited-Time Offer Ends July 31

The company clarified that the discounted prices are available only until July 31, 2026. Once the promotional period ends, all three Chery PHEV models will revert to their newly announced retail prices.

The latest revision highlights the growing impact of tax changes on Pakistan’s hybrid vehicle market. While the temporary discounts soften the immediate effect, customers planning to purchase a Chery plug-in hybrid SUV may benefit from completing their bookings before the promotional offer expires.
