Chery Master has officially announced the price of the Chery Tiggo 8 PHEV in Pakistan, marking a major milestone for the local auto industry.
The Tiggo 8 PHEV is Pakistan’s first locally assembled plug-in hybrid (PHEV) 7-seater SUV, combining electric efficiency with long-distance capability.
With this launch, Chery is positioning itself as a serious contender in the premium hybrid SUV segment.
Adding to the excitement, the company has also confirmed that Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV and Tiggo 9 PHEV prices will be revealed soon, expanding its electrified lineup in Pakistan.
Price
The introductory price of the Chery Tiggo 8 PHEV is set at Rs 10,999,000.
This special launch price is valid for a limited time until January 31, making it an attractive option for early adopters.
Given the features, performance, and PHEV technology on offer, this pricing places the Tiggo 8 PHEV competitively against conventional petrol SUVs in the same segment.
Performance
Under the hood, the Tiggo 8 PHEV is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine paired with an 18.3 kWh battery and a dual-motor setup.
The combined output stands at an impressive 496 hp and 735 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 6.8 seconds.
In EV mode, the SUV offers a WLTP-rated electric range of 77 km, while the combined driving range extends up to 1,020 km, thanks to a 60-liter fuel tank.
Fast charging support includes 40 kW DC charging, taking the battery from 30% to 80% in only 20 minutes.
Exterior
The Tiggo 8 PHEV boasts a bold and modern design, highlighted by LED Matrix headlamps with adaptive leveling, dynamic indicators, and a full-width rear LED light bar.
Riding on 19-inch alloy wheels, the SUV carries a strong road presence, further enhanced by its well-proportioned dimensions and aerodynamic styling.
Interior
Inside, the cabin focuses on comfort and technology. Key highlights include a 15.6-inch 2.5K infotainment display, Sony 12-speaker sound system, panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting.
The powered front seats offer heating, ventilation, and even massage functionality, while features like wireless charging, heads-up display, and a noise-insulated cabin elevate the premium feel.
Dual-zone climate control with vents for the second and third rows ensures comfort for all seven occupants.
Safety
On the safety front, the Tiggo 8 PHEV is well-equipped with 10 airbags, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and a 540-degree camera system.
Additional safety-focused features include heated and retractable side mirrors and V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) capability, making the SUV both secure and versatile for daily and long-distance use.
