Chinese delegation visits FPCCI to explore business opportunities

KARACHI – In a bid to foster stronger economic ties between Pakistan and China, a delegation of Chinese businessmen paid a visit to the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), as per an official statement released on Saturday.

The visit aimed to explore potential business opportunities and collaborations between the two nations.

Gao Yunlong, President of the All-China Chamber of Industry and Commerce (ACCIC) & Chairman Council of the China Federation for Peace & Development (CFPD), emphasized the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China, envisioning it as a catalyst for mutual economic and social development. Yunlong stressed the importance of increased interaction among business communities, expanding trade avenues, and fostering joint ventures and investments between the two nations.

Welcoming the delegation, Engr. Daroo Khan Achakzai, President of FPCCI, highlighted China’s significant contribution to Pakistan’s economic development and prosperity. Acknowledging Chinese investments in Pakistan, particularly in the context of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Achakzai expressed optimism about the positive impact on Pakistan’s infrastructure and energy landscape. CPEC is a flagship project that involves significant infrastructure development, including the construction of highways, railways, and energy projects, aimed at enhancing connectivity and facilitating economic growth.
