Islamabad, August 30, 2023: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported that continental air is currently prevailing over most parts of the country, ushering in hot and humid conditions in many plain areas on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.

Over the past 24 hours, the Met Office observed that hot and humid weather dominated much of the country. However, there were isolated instances of rain, wind, and thundershowers in several places, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
