Cricket Australia is gearing up to present an exciting cricket festival this summer, featuring some of the most iconic names in the sport, including former Pakistan captain Younis Khan, Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, and legendary fast bowler Damien Fleming.

The highly anticipated event will take place on October 5 at Federation Square, starting at 3 pm, offering fans a rare chance to meet and interact with their cricketing heroes.

This lively festival will showcase a stellar lineup of players: Maxwell, known for his explosive batting; Younis, Pakistan’s revered former T20 World Cup-winning captain; Fleming, a key player in Australia 1999 World Cup victory; Victorian captain Will Sutherland; and rising star Hasrat Gill, an Australia Women’s U19 cricketer. The three-hour event is designed to not only thrill cricket enthusiasts but also to generate buzz around the upcoming international and Big Bash League matches set to take place in Melbourne.

In a move to celebrate and promote cricket’s growing multicultural appeal, the festival will feature player appearances from both the Men’s and Women’s Big Bash Leagues (BBL and WBBL), autograph sessions, and photo opportunities with the prestigious Men’s and Women’s World Cup trophies.
