Karachi, March 24, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest shipping operations update for Monday, March 24, 2025, to assist stakeholders, shipping companies, and port operators.
The report highlights vessel movements at Port Qasim over the last 24 hours, ensuring smooth maritime trade activities.
Several vessels departed from Port Qasim, reflecting the port’s continuous shipping operations. Among them, the tanker M.T-Stolt Cobalt, with a length of 165 meters, sailed after unloading 7,986 metric tons of ethylene dichloride. Another significant departure was M.T-Maritime Nordic, which carried a large consignment of 30,680 metric tons of palm oil. The vessel left Port Qasim in the afternoon, managed by Al-Pine Marine.
On the berthing side, multiple vessels arrived at Port Qasim for cargo handling. The bulk carrier M.V-Tai Stride, measuring 200 meters in length, docked at the port to offload 42,500 metric tons of coal. Another vessel, M.V-Eleni T, arrived to handle container shipments under the supervision of Inch Cape Shipping Services. Additionally, the LPG carrier M.T-FSM berthed at Port Qasim, bringing in a consignment of 2,130 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas. Another tanker, M.T-DS Rosa, delivered 18,000 metric tons of palm oil to the port.
