DFML Reveals Honri-VE, Enters Pakistan’s Growing EV Market

PkRevenue.com – Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) has made a groundbreaking entry into Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) market with the unveiling of the Honri-VE.

This debut EV was revealed at a significant event in Karachi, sharing the stage with the KIA Shehzore, marking a pivotal moment for DFML and the Pakistani automotive industry.

In a strategic move towards sustainable mobility, DFML has partnered with ECO-Green Motors Limited (EGML). This collaboration, formalized through a toll manufacturing agreement, positions DFML at the forefront of Pakistan’s EV revolution, with plans to begin production of the Honri-VE in August 2024.

The Honri-VE is set to redefine standards in the Pakistani automotive market, offering two range variants—200KM and 300KM. These options promise an eco-friendly and efficient driving experience, catering to varying needs of Pakistani drivers.

Specifications:

Dimensions: The Honri-VE is designed to be both compact and spacious, with dimensions of 3517mm in length, 1495mm in width, and 1660mm in height. It features a 2495mm wheelbase and a 130mm ground clearance.

Performance: Equipped with a Ternary Lithium Battery and a Permanent Synchronous Motor, the Honri-VE delivers a maximum power of 30Kw and 84Nm of torque. It boasts a top speed of 100km/h and a charging time of seven hours for its 200-kilometer range. The vehicle offers Economy and Sports driving modes, along with a regenerative braking system for enhanced efficiency.

Exterior: The sleek exterior of the Honri-VE includes front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, 155/65/R15 tires with alloy rims, and a rear spoiler. It features halogen height-adjustable front headlamps, dual-tone side-view mirrors with indicators, a chrome and black front grille, and Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).

Interior: The interior is designed for comfort and convenience, featuring electric power steering, a knob-type transmission, 4-way adjustable seats for both driver and passenger, a rearview camera, and front and rear electric windows. Additional features include a rear seat folding option, a 5-inch color instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with an Android system, complemented by a 220V AC Charging Gun.

Safety & Convenience: The Honri-VE prioritizes safety with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), a driver-only SRS airbag, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), an ISOFIX Child Seat Interface, Low-Speed Pedestrian Warning, automatic locking while driving, automatic unlocking after a collision, and rear parking sensors.
