Unveiled alongside the KIA Shehzore at a high-profile event in Karachi, the Honri-VE marks DFML’s strategic foray into the EV segment. This move is bolstered by DFML’s partnership with ECO-Green Motors Limited (EGML) through a toll manufacturing agreement, setting the stage for DFML to spearhead the electric vehicle revolution in Pakistan. Production of the Honri-VE is scheduled to begin in August 2024.

Dimensions: Compact yet spacious, the Honri-VE measures 3517mm in length, 1495mm in width, and 1660mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2495mm and a ground clearance of 130mm.
Performance:
The vehicle is powered by a Ternary Lithium Battery and Permanent Synchronous motor, delivering a maximum power of 30Kw and torque of 84Nm. It achieves a top speed of 100km/h and offers a charging time of seven hours for a 200-kilometer range per charge. The Honri-VE features Economy and Sports driving modes, along with a regenerative braking system.

The sleek design includes front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, 155/65/R15 tires with alloy rims, a rear spoiler, height-adjustable Halogen front headlamps, dual-tone side-view mirrors with indicators, a chrome and black front grille, and daytime running lights (DRLs).

The cabin prioritizes comfort and convenience with features such as electric power steering, knob-type transmission, 4-way adjustable seats for both driver and passenger, a rearview camera, front and rear electric windows, rear seat folding, a 5-inch color instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with an Android system. It also includes a 220V AC charging gun.

The Honri-VE is equipped with advanced safety features including an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Braking Force Distribution System (EBD), a driver-only SRS airbag, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat interface, low-speed pedestrian warning, automatic lock while driving, automatic unlock after collision, and rear parking sensors.
