Dry Weather Expected in Most Parts of Pakistan on September 7

Islamabad, September 6, 2023 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather forecast indicating the likelihood of dry conditions in most parts of the country on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

In its daily weather report, the PMD stated that dry weather is expected to prevail across the majority of Pakistan, with some areas experiencing humidity in the plain regions.

Regarding the synoptic situation, the report mentioned that a continental air mass is currently dominant over most parts of the country.

Over the past 24 hours, hot and humid weather conditions were observed in various regions of Pakistan. However, a small amount of rain, measuring 01 mm, was recorded in Gilgit.

The report also provided information on the highest recorded maximum temperatures for the day, with Nokkundi topping the list at 42°C. Other areas experiencing high temperatures included Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Dalbandin, D.I.Khan, Joharabad, and Sibbi, all recording temperatures of 41°C.

As per the PMD’s forecast, residents and travelers in Pakistan can anticipate dry weather in most areas on September 7, 2023, with humidity noted in plain regions. It is advisable to stay updated with local weather reports and take necessary precautions, especially in areas experiencing high temperatures.
