FBR reshuffles Pakistan Customs officers across Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad and Quetta in a major round of postings.
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has transferred Muhammad Yaqoob Mako, a BS-21 officer of the Pakistan Customs Service (PCS), and posted him as Director General of the Directorate General of Post Clearance & Internal Audit, Karachi.
The latest notification covers a series of transfers and postings involving Pakistan Customs officers across Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad and Quetta.

• Muhammad Yaqoob Mako (BS-21): Transferred from Member, FBR Headquarters, Islamabad (stationed at Karachi), and posted as Director General, Directorate General of Post Clearance & Internal Audit, Karachi.
• Nausheen Riaz Khan (BS-19): Transferred from Secretary, FBR Headquarters, Islamabad (stationed at Karachi), and posted as Additional Director, Directorate of Post Clearance & Internal Audit (HQ), Karachi.
• Tausif Aman (BS-19): Transferred from Secretary, FBR Headquarters, Islamabad (stationed at Karachi), and posted as Additional Director, Directorate of Post Clearance & Internal Audit (South), Karachi.
• Muhammad Faizan Badar (BS-18): Transferred from Secretary (PCS/BS-19 on DTL), FBR Headquarters, Islamabad (stationed at Lahore), and posted as Additional Director, Directorate of Post Clearance & Internal Audit (Central), Lahore.
• Sheeraz Ahmad (BS-19): Transferred from Secretary, FBR Headquarters, Islamabad, and posted as Additional Director, Directorate of National Nuclear Detection Architecture (NNDA), Karachi.
• Zehra Tahir Naqvi (BS-19): Transferred from Secretary, FBR Headquarters, Islamabad, and posted as Additional Director, Customs Academy of Pakistan (CAP), Karachi.
• Asfand Yar Khan (BS-19): Transferred from Secretary, FBR Headquarters, Islamabad, and posted as Additional Director, Directorate of Transit Trade (HQ), Karachi.
• Mustafa Zamir (BS-18): Transferred from Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Exports), Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Karachi, and posted as Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Customs Appraisement (East), Karachi.
• Tariq Hussain (BS-18): Transferred from Second Secretary (Admin Pool), FBR Headquarters, Islamabad, and posted as Deputy Director, Directorate General of Law & Prosecution (Customs), Islamabad.
• Hira Khan (BS-18): Transferred from Second Secretary (TDU), FBR Headquarters, Islamabad, and posted as Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Islamabad.
• Hammad Ahmed (BS-18): Transferred from Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Customs Appraisement (East), Karachi, and posted as Deputy Director, Directorate of Intelligence, Karachi.
• Rahat Naseem (BS-18): Transferred from Deputy Director, Directorate of Intelligence, Karachi, and posted as Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Exports), Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Karachi.
• Muhammad Arslan Arshad (BS-17): Transferred from Second Secretary (TDU), FBR Headquarters, Islamabad, and posted as Assistant Collector, Collectorate of Customs Appraisement, Faisalabad.
• Sami Ullah (BS-17): Currently serving as Assistant Collector (Prob), Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Quetta. He has been assigned the additional charge of Assistant Director (Prob), Directorate of National Nuclear Detection Architecture (NNDA), Quetta.
Performance allowance retained
The FBR said officers who were already drawing performance allowance before the notification was issued would continue to receive the allowance at their new places of posting.
The officers have also been directed to submit their charge relinquishment and assumption reports to the FBR immediately after completing the respective charge transfer formalities.
The reports will be placed on record for further necessary action.
