Foreign exchange reserves increase by $25 million to $15.63 billion

KARACHI: The liquid foreign exchange reserves of the country has increased by $25 million to $15.63 billion by week ended August 23, 2019 as compared with $15.605 billion a week ago, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.

The official reserves of the central bank increased by $32 million to $8.271 billion as compared with $8.239 billion in previous week.

The reserves held by commercial bank, however, slipped by $7 million to $7.359 billion as compared with $7.366 billion a week ago.
