Engine:
To cater to the evolving needs of adventure-seekers in North America, the 2024 Ford Ranger boasts an array of advanced towing technologies, convenient storage features, and an available 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine for an extra punch of power. This engine, also shared with the F-150 and Bronco, delivers an impressive 315 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque, perfect for towing, passing, and off-roading. Additionally, the Ranger offers a maximum towing capacity of 7,500 pounds and a payload capacity of up to 1,805 pounds, making it an ideal companion for day trips or extended journeys.

Design:

The design of the 2024 Ford Ranger focuses on both functionality and style. With an enhanced fully boxed high-strength steel frame, the wheelbase and track have been extended by approximately two inches, resulting in improved stability, more bed space, and enhanced maneuverability on trails. The improved ground clearance, approach, and departure angles, combined with the repositioning of the rear shocks and shock mounts, further enhance the Ranger’s off-road capabilities.

The standard 8-inch digital instrument cluster, with an available full-screen 12.4-inch cluster, sets the stage for an immersive driving experience. Meanwhile, the center touchscreen comes in two sizes—a standard 10.1-inch display or an impressive available 12-inch touchscreen, equipped with Ford’s SYNC®4A system. The exterior of 2024 Ford Ranger showcases its unique identity through distinct grilles and front-end appearances tailored for XL, XLT, and Lariat models. The recognizable Ford C-clamp headlight treatment and bold shoulder lines running along the sides accentuate the muscular wheel arches, giving the Ranger a confident and commanding presence. The rear end mirrors the front with C-clamp taillamps, while the tailgate proudly displays the unmistakable “RANGER” stamp, leaving no doubt about the vehicle’s identity.
