Electric vehicle momentum in Pakistan is accelerating, and GAC Motor seems ready to expand its footprint.
After teasing the Aion V SUV, the company has now hinted at another exciting addition—the GAC Aion ES—through a stylish teaser image that’s gaining attention online.
The visual highlights a sleek sedan silhouette with a continuous rear light bar, clearly pointing toward the Aion ES.
Although there’s no official confirmation yet, the tagline “The future doesn’t arrive loudly, it arrives refined” strongly suggests that a launch announcement could be coming soon.
This also raises speculation about a possible dual launch alongside the Aion V.
Expected Performance and Platform
While official local specs are still under wraps, international variants give a strong indication of what to expect.
The Aion ES is based on GAC’s GEP 2.0 pure electric platform, designed to deliver efficient performance and smooth handling.
The sedan produces around 100 kW of power and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 12.1 seconds.
Rather than focusing on speed, it prioritizes a calm and refined driving experience, ideal for everyday use.
Battery, Range, and Charging
Battery performance is one of the key highlights of the Aion ES. It is equipped with a 55.2 kWh battery pack that offers a WLTP range of up to 364 km.
For city driving, the range can extend up to 520 km, making it practical for both daily commutes and longer trips.
Fast charging support allows the battery to go from 10% to 70% in just 15 minutes using a DC charger—an important feature for busy urban lifestyles.
Design and Interior Space
The Aion ES combines futuristic design with practicality. It features a closed front grille, coupe-inspired body shape, and connected LED tail lights that enhance its EV identity.
Inside, the sedan offers generous cabin space along with a 453-liter trunk, ensuring comfort and usability for families. The layout focuses on simplicity, space, and a modern driving feel.
Safety and Ownership Benefits
GAC has equipped the Aion ES with its advanced “Magazine Battery 2.0” technology, designed for enhanced safety, durability, and energy efficiency.
Additionally, the company is expected to offer a 10-year battery warranty along with 10 years of free servicing, providing long-term peace of mind for buyers considering the switch to electric mobility.
What to Expect Next?
With its balanced mix of range, comfort, and modern styling, the Aion ES could become a strong contender in Pakistan’s emerging EV market. If launched soon, it may redefine expectations for electric sedans in the country.
Now the big question remains—will GAC Pakistan officially unveil both the Aion ES and Aion V together? The answer may arrive sooner than expected.
