Geely Pakistan is expected to introduce the Geely EX5 electric crossover SUV as part of its potential entry into the Pakistani automotive market.
Although the company has not officially confirmed the launch of the EX5, recent social media activity has increased speculation surrounding the model.
Geely Pakistan has started sharing teaser videos on its social media platforms, with the EX5 electric SUV appearing as the main highlight.
The teasers have fueled expectations that the company could introduce the electric crossover as one of its first models for the local market.
The company has previously indicated that its local vehicle lineup could be introduced soon, supporting reports that Geely may enter the Pakistani market.
However, details regarding the launch date, pricing, specifications and available variants have yet to be officially announced.
If launched in Pakistan, the Geely EX5 could become an important model for the brand as demand for electric vehicles continues to grow in the country.
Internationally, the EX5 is positioned as an electric crossover combining modern styling, technology, comfort and everyday practicality.
In international markets, the Geely EX5 offers up to 475 km of WLTP driving range, depending on the battery and variant. The SUV can also reportedly charge from 30% to 80% in around 20 minutes under suitable fast-charging conditions.
The EX5 is powered by a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor driving the front wheels. Its electric motor produces up to 218 hp (160 kW) and 320 Nm of torque. Depending on the configuration, the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 6.9 seconds, while higher-weight variants can take approximately 7.1 to 7.4 seconds.
Battery options include a 60.2 kWh LFP Short Blade battery, while premium configurations can feature a larger 68.4 kWh LFP battery. The standard battery can provide up to around 430 km of WLTP range, while the long-range version can reach approximately 475 km.
With its electric powertrain, fast-charging capability and crossover body style, the Geely EX5 could be a strong candidate for Geely Pakistan’s debut lineup. However, the company will need to officially confirm the model before its launch and local specifications can be determined.
