Geely Pakistan has officially launched three new models in the local market, expanding its presence in the country’s growing electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid vehicle segment. However, the company has not announced the prices of the newly introduced vehicles at the launch event.
The new lineup comprises the Geely EX5 EV, Geely EX2 EV, and Geely Starray EM-R REEV. The models offer different vehicle sizes and powertrain configurations, targeting customers interested in fully electric mobility and range-extended electric technology.
Geely EX2 EV – Performance and Specifications
The Geely EX2 is a sub-compact electric vehicle powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Its international variant features a 39.4 kWh battery producing 114 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque.
The vehicle offers a claimed WLTP driving range of 325 km, while its EPA range is rated at 278 km. Charging the battery through an AC charger takes approximately 6.5 hours, whereas DC fast charging takes around 25 minutes.
The EX2 measures 162.80 × 71.06 × 62.20 inches, with a 104.33-inch wheelbase and 6.38-inch ground clearance. Safety and convenience equipment includes six airbags, 11 ADAS features, and three parking sensors.
Geely EX5 EV – Compact Electric SUV
The Geely EX5 EV is a compact electric SUV equipped with a 68.39 kWh battery and a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Its international specification sheet lists output at 215 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque.
The SUV offers a claimed WLTP range of 450 km, while its EPA range is 385 km. AC charging takes approximately 6.5 hours, and DC fast charging is listed at 20 minutes.
The EX5 measures 181.69 × 74.84 × 65.75 inches and has a 108.27-inch wheelbase. Its ground clearance stands at 6.81 inches. Other listed features include 14 ADAS functions, four parking sensors, and four airbags.
Geely Starray EM-R – Range-Extended Electric SUV
The Geely Starray EM-R is a compact SUV featuring a range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) powertrain. It combines a 1.5-litre engine with an 18.4 kWh battery and an electric motor producing 215 horsepower and 262 Nm of torque.
Its listed electric driving range is 89 km under the WLTP cycle and 76 km under the EPA cycle. AC charging takes approximately three hours, while DC charging is listed at 20 minutes.
The Starray EM-R measures 186.61 × 75.00 × 66.34 inches and has a 108.46-inch wheelbase. It comes with 15 ADAS features, six airbags, and five parking sensors.
Prices and Pakistan-Specific Specifications
Although the three models have been launched, their official prices remain undisclosed. The specifications mentioned above are based on international variants and may differ from the Pakistani versions. Geely Pakistan has yet to confirm the final local specifications and pricing.
The announcement is expected to attract attention from buyers considering electric SUVs and compact EVs as more international automotive brands enter Pakistan’s evolving vehicle market.
