Gold prices rise to Rs425,636 per tola in Pakistan as international bullion rates recover by $35 per ounce amid global economic uncertainty.
Karachi, October 28, 2026: Gold prices in Pakistan rebounded on Wednesday, gaining Rs3,500 per tola in the domestic bullion market, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold increased to Rs425,636 per tola from the previous day’s closing level of Rs423,136, reflecting a recovery in local bullion rates.
Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams rose by Rs3,001 to Rs364,914, compared with Rs361,913 recorded on Tuesday.
Bullion market experts attributed the increase in Pakistan’s gold prices to an upward movement in international markets. They said global gold prices remained volatile amid the continuing Middle East crisis and concerns about inflation worldwide.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $35 per ounce to reach $4,031, compared with the previous closing price of $3,996.
International bullion prices are a key factor influencing domestic gold rates in Pakistan, alongside currency movements and local market conditions.
The latest increase follows the previous session’s closing level and brings renewed movement to the local bullion market. Investors and jewellery buyers continue to monitor international price trends and geopolitical developments for their potential impact on domestic rates.
Gold prices may fluctuate further as global economic concerns, inflation expectations and developments in the Middle East influence investor demand for the precious metal.
