Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold falling Rs1,800 per tola as international bullion prices also moved lower.
Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs1,800 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold decreased to Rs455,736 per tola, compared with the previous session’s closing price of Rs457,536.
The latest decline followed a Rs1,800 reduction in the domestic bullion rate, extending the downward movement seen in the local gold market. The decline also came as international bullion prices recorded another fall during the session.
10-Gram Gold Rate Also Declines
The downward trend was also reflected in the 10-gram category, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs1,543.
According to the latest market rates, 10 grams of 24-karat gold were priced at Rs390,720, compared with the previous closing price of Rs392,263.
The latest movement takes the 10-gram gold rate below the Rs391,000 level, while the per-tola price has moved further away from the Rs460,000 mark recorded in recent sessions.
Domestic gold rates in Pakistan generally remain sensitive to movements in international bullion prices, making changes in global gold prices an important factor for local market rates.
International Gold Prices Decline
Global bullion prices also declined on Tuesday, putting further downward pressure on domestic gold rates.
International gold prices decreased by $18 per ounce to $4,332, compared with the previous session’s close of $4,350.
The fall in international bullion prices coincided with the decline in domestic gold rates, with both markets moving lower during the session.
The latest figures show continued volatility in the gold market, as local prices respond to changes in international bullion rates.
Investors, jewellery buyers and market participants will continue to monitor movements in global gold prices for further direction in domestic rates.
