Gold prices fall Rs2,700 to Rs457,536 per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Monday, with 24-karat gold falling Rs2,700 per tola as international bullion prices also moved lower.

Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Monday, September 21, 2026, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs2,700 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 24-karat gold decreased to Rs457,536 per tola, compared with the previous session’s closing price of Rs460,236.

The latest decline comes after gold prices remained around the Rs460,000-per-tola level during the previous session. The movement in the domestic market followed a decline in international bullion prices, which also recorded a fall during the session.

Gold Prices Decline in 10-Gram Category

The decline was also reflected in the 10-gram category, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs2,315.

According to the latest market rates, 10 grams of 24-karat gold were priced at Rs392,263, compared with the previous closing price of Rs394,578.

The latest reduction marks a reversal from the previous session, when domestic gold prices remained almost unchanged. The domestic bullion market continues to respond to movements in international gold prices, making global bullion rates an important factor for local jewellers and buyers.

Gold remains a closely watched commodity in Pakistan, with changes in its price affecting jewellery costs as well as investment demand. Daily price movements can also influence buying decisions among consumers and traders.

International Bullion Prices Move Lower

Global bullion prices also declined on Monday, putting downward pressure on domestic gold rates.

International gold prices decreased by $27 per ounce to $4,350, compared with the previous session’s close of $4,377.

The decline in international bullion prices was reflected in the local market, contributing to the Rs2,700 reduction in the price of 24-karat gold per tola.

With both domestic and international rates moving lower, market participants will continue to monitor global bullion prices for further direction in local gold rates.
