Gold prices fall Rs3,800 to Rs453,436 per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday, tracking a $38 drop in international bullion prices to $4,309 per ounce.

Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Thursday, September 17, 2026, with the price of 24-karat gold declining by Rs3,800 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 24-karat gold fell to Rs453,436 per tola, down from the previous session’s closing price of Rs457,236.

The decline came after gold prices recorded a strong increase in the previous session, when the precious metal rose by Rs7,900 per tola in the domestic market.

10-Gram Gold Price

The price of 24-karat gold also decreased in the 10-gram category.

According to the latest market rates, 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs3,257 to Rs388,749, compared with the previous closing price of Rs392,006.

The latest movement reflects the broader decline in bullion prices in international markets.

International Gold Prices

International gold prices also moved lower on Thursday, putting additional pressure on domestic rates.

Global bullion declined by $38 per ounce to $4,309, compared with the previous session’s close of $4,347.

The decline in international bullion prices was mirrored in Pakistan’s local gold market, resulting in lower prices for both per-tola and 10-gram quantities.
