Gold prices in Pakistan declined by Rs1,600 per tola on Saturday, bringing the 24-karat rate to Rs439,036, as international bullion prices also fell by $16 per ounce.

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a decline on October 17, 2026, reversing part of the previous session’s increase. The price of 24-karat gold fell to Rs439,036 per tola, compared with the previous closing rate of Rs440,636.

According to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the latest decrease reduced the domestic gold price by Rs1,600 per tola.

Gold Rates Decline in Local Market

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased on Saturday, falling by Rs1,372 to Rs376,402 from the previous closing rate of Rs377,774.

The decline followed Friday’s increase, when gold prices rose by Rs2,800 per tola to Rs440,636.

The latest movement highlights continued fluctuations in Pakistan’s bullion market, where domestic rates are influenced by changes in international gold prices.

International Gold Prices Also Fall

In the international market, gold prices decreased by $16 per ounce to $4,165, compared with the previous closing price of $4,181, according to the association.

The decline in international bullion rates coincided with the fall in local gold prices on Saturday.

Market participants will continue to monitor international price movements for their potential impact on domestic bullion rates.
