Gold prices in Pakistan fall Rs3,600 to Rs465,536 per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan declined sharply on September 5, 2026, following a drop in international bullion prices, with 24-karat gold falling Rs3,600 per tola.

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a significant decline on Saturday, September 5, 2026, as domestic bullion rates moved lower in line with a fall in international gold prices.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs3,600 per tola, falling to Rs465,536 from the previous closing price of Rs469,136.

The latest decline marks a notable reversal in the domestic gold market after prices had remained elevated in recent sessions.

Gold Price per 10 Grams

The price of 24-karat gold also decreased on a 10-gram basis.

The rate fell by Rs3,086 to Rs399,122 per 10 grams, compared with the previous closing price of Rs402,208.

The decline reflects the broader movement in the bullion market, with international prices also coming under pressure.

International Gold Prices Decline

In the international market, gold prices fell by $36 per ounce, declining to $4,430 from the previous close of $4,466.

The drop in global bullion prices contributed to the downward movement in local gold rates. Since Pakistan’s domestic gold prices are influenced by international bullion trends, changes in global prices can have a direct impact on rates in the local market.

Market participants will continue to monitor international gold prices and currency movements for further direction in domestic bullion rates.
