Gold prices increase by Rs2,400 per tola in Pakistan

Local bullion rates rise on November 2 as international gold prices gain $24 per ounce.

Gold prices in Pakistan increased by Rs2,400 per tola on November 2, 2026, reversing the decline recorded in the previous session, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA).

The price of 24-karat gold rose to Rs412,136 per tola, compared with the previous closing rate of Rs409,736.

Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams increased by Rs2,058 to Rs353,340, against the previous closing price of Rs351,282.

The increase in local bullion rates followed a rise in the international market, where gold prices gained $24 per ounce to reach $3,896, compared with the previous closing level of $3,872.

The latest increase comes after gold prices in Pakistan declined by Rs10,800 per tola on October 31, taking the rate down to Rs409,736.

The recovery in international bullion prices was reflected in the domestic market, pushing local rates higher in the latest trading session.

Gold prices in Pakistan generally follow movements in the international market, alongside changes in the exchange rate and other local market factors.

The domestic gold market has experienced notable price fluctuations in recent sessions. On October 31, 2026, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs10,800 per tola to Rs409,736, while the international rate dropped to $3,872 per ounce. The latest increase has therefore pushed the local per-tola rate back above the Rs410,000 mark.

The recovery in international bullion prices remains an important factor for Pakistan’s gold market, as local rates closely track movements in global prices. The latest rise of $24 per ounce has translated into higher domestic prices, with the per-tola rate increasing by Rs2,400 and the 10-gram rate gaining Rs2,058 on November 2.
