Gold prices in Pakistan fell to Rs422,036 per tola on October 24, extending their decline since October 16, as international bullion prices also weakened.
KARACHI, October 24, 2026: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their losing streak, declining by Rs18,600 per tola between October 16 and October 24, according to data released by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association on Saturday.
The price of 24-karat gold fell to Rs422,036 per tola on October 24, compared with Rs440,636 on October 16, reflecting a sustained downward trend in the domestic bullion market.
On a day-on-day basis, gold prices dropped by Rs2,500 per tola, from Rs424,536 on the previous trading day to Rs422,036.
Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold declined by Rs2,144 per 10 grams to Rs361,827, compared with the previous closing price of Rs363,971.
Bullion market experts attributed the decline in domestic gold prices to falling international rates. They said uncertainty surrounding the Middle East situation and concerns over global inflation had contributed to volatility in gold markets.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $25 per ounce to settle at $3,995, down from the previous closing level of $4,020.
The continued decline in international bullion prices has put further downward pressure on Pakistan’s domestic gold market, with local rates reflecting movements in global prices.
Market participants will continue to monitor international bullion trends and geopolitical developments for indications of the direction of gold prices in the coming sessions.
