International silver prices also weakened, falling by $0.27 to $57.29 per ounce.
The latest decline in precious metal prices reflects a continued downward movement in both domestic and international bullion markets.
The rates issued by the association provide a benchmark for gold and silver trading in Pakistan. However, actual retail prices may vary depending on local market conditions, jewellers’ charges and other applicable costs.
Market participants will continue to monitor international bullion prices and currency movements for indications of the direction of domestic gold and silver rates.
