Gold prices fall by Rs3,000 per tola in Pakistan: October 22, 2026

Gold prices in Pakistan decline amid a fall in international bullion rates, with 24-karat gold dropping to Rs431,536 per tola.

KARACHI, October 22, 2026: Gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs3,000 per tola on Thursday, driven by a decline in international bullion markets.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold dropped to Rs431,536 per tola from the previous day’s closing rate of Rs434,536 in domestic bullion markets.

Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams declined by Rs2,572 to Rs369,972, compared with Rs372,544 recorded in the previous session.

Bullion market experts attributed the decline in domestic gold prices to falling international rates. They noted that geopolitical uncertainty and concerns over global inflation continued to contribute to volatility in the precious metals market.

In international markets, gold prices fell by $30 per ounce to settle at $4,090, down from the previous day’s closing price of $4,120.

The latest decline reflects the impact of movements in global bullion prices on Pakistan’s domestic gold market. Local gold rates generally respond to international price trends, alongside movements in the exchange rate and other market factors.

Market participants will continue to monitor international gold prices and geopolitical developments for indications of the precious metal’s next direction.
