Gold prices inch up to Rs435,036 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan rise by Rs600 per tola as international bullion rates gain $6 amid market volatility and global inflation concerns.

Gold prices in Pakistan edged higher on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold reaching Rs435,036 per tola amid an upward trend in international bullion markets.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs600 per tola from the previous day’s closing of Rs434,436.

The price of 24-karat gold also rose in the 10-gram category, increasing by Rs515 to Rs372,973 from the previous close of Rs372,458.

Bullion market experts attributed the modest increase in domestic gold prices to gains in international markets. They noted that global gold prices have remained volatile amid ongoing Middle East tensions and concerns over inflation worldwide.

In the international market, gold prices increased by $6 per ounce, reaching $4,125 compared with the previous day’s closing price of $4,119.

The movement in international bullion prices continues to influence the domestic gold market, with local rates also reflecting changes in global trends.

Gold remains a closely watched investment and savings asset in Pakistan, where changes in international bullion prices can quickly affect local market rates.
