Gold prices in Pakistan climbed sharply on Friday, tracking a $69 increase in international bullion prices to $4,378 per ounce.
Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Friday, September 18, 2026, with the price of 24-karat gold increasing by Rs6,900 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold increased to Rs460,336 per tola, compared with the previous session’s closing price of Rs453,436.
The latest increase followed a decline of Rs3,800 per tola in the previous session, when domestic gold prices fell to Rs453,436.
10-Gram Gold Price
Gold also recorded a significant increase in the 10-gram category.
According to the latest market rates, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs5,914 to Rs394,663. The previous closing price stood at Rs388,749.
The increase in domestic gold prices came as international bullion also moved higher during Friday’s trading session.
International Gold Prices Rise
International gold prices increased by $69 per ounce to $4,378, compared with the previous session’s close of $4,309.
The rise in global bullion prices provided upward momentum to the domestic market, contributing to higher gold rates in Pakistan.
The latest movement highlights the close link between international bullion prices and domestic gold rates, with changes in global prices reflected in local market valuations.
