Sony and Rockstar Games are preparing two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers inspired by GTA 6’s Vice City, with pre-orders opening on September 10.
The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) is set to receive a pair of official limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers, giving fans another way to celebrate Rockstar Games’ upcoming open-world title.
Developed through a collaboration between Sony Interactive Entertainment and Rockstar Games, the special-edition controllers feature designs inspired by the colourful atmosphere of Vice City. The two variants are expected to launch on November 19, 2026.
Pre-orders for the GTA 6 DualSense controllers will begin on September 10 at 10am PT, with the products available exclusively through PlayStation Direct. Given their limited-edition status, availability could be restricted once pre-orders open.
Two Vice City-inspired designs
The GTA 6 controllers will reportedly be offered in Matte Black and Arctic White finishes, with each version featuring subtle design elements linked to the game.
The Matte Black model uses a darker aesthetic inspired by Vice City’s neon-lit nightlife, while the Arctic White version takes cues from Florida’s bright and vibrant environment.
Both controllers feature etched palm trees along the sides, while the touchpad carries a specially etched “VI” emblem styled after GTA 6 branding.
The Grand Theft Auto logo is also stamped on the bottom of each controller, while neon purple detailing adds a distinctive touch to both colour variants.
Standard DualSense features included
Beyond the cosmetic changes, the limited-edition GTA 6 controllers are expected to retain the core functionality of Sony’s standard DualSense wireless controller.
This includes haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and built-in immersive audio, allowing players to experience compatible games with the same key features offered by the regular DualSense.
The controllers are positioned as collector-focused accessories for GTA fans, particularly those looking to match their PlayStation setup with the aesthetic of Vice City.
With pre-orders scheduled to open in September and the expected release date set for November 19, fans will have to act quickly if stock is limited.
