Haider Ali from Pakistan has clinched the gold medal in the discus throw competition at the ongoing Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China. This victory not only adds a prestigious medal to his collection but also secures his spot in the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

Haider’s impressive performance saw him conquer the competition with a sensational throw of 51.23 meters during his fourth attempt, as confirmed by official sources.

The silver medal was claimed by Japan’s Yamato Shimbo, who achieved a throw of 49.70 meters, while China’s Zhang Xuelong secured the bronze medal with a throw of 48.26 meters.
