Haval has officially confirmed the launch date for its highly anticipated fourth-generation Haval H6 compact SUV. The unveiling is scheduled for June 19, marking a significant milestone for the brand.

Earlier, the vehicle had already begun accepting reservations, generating considerable buzz among automotive enthusiasts.

Although specific pricing details are yet to be disclosed, industry insiders speculate that the new Haval H6 will be competitively priced between 90,000 to 140,000 yuan (approximately $12,400 to $19,300 USD).

Design and Features

Built on Great Wall Motor’s advanced LEMON platform, the new Haval H6 boasts dimensions of 4703/1886/1730 mm with a wheelbase of 2738 mm. Notably, the vehicle’s length has been extended by 50 mm compared to its predecessor, while maintaining consistent parameters elsewhere.

Featuring a refreshed exterior, the Haval H6 showcases a redesigned front fascia highlighted by a prominent grille adorned with a scale-shaped dot-matrix structure, seamlessly integrated with sleek headlights. The rear design is elegantly simplified with new-style taillights flanking the iconic Haval English logo.

Power and Performance

Under the hood, drivers will have a choice between two powerful engine options:

1.5T Engine: Generates up to 135 kW (181 hp) of maximum power and 275 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 7-speed DCT transmission for smooth front-wheel drive performance.

2.0T Engine: Delivers a maximum power of 175 kW (235 hp) and peak torque of 385 Nm (previously 155 kW), mated to either a 9-speed DCT transmission for front-wheel drive or a versatile four-wheel drive option.

In the near future, a plug-in hybrid variant utilizing Great Wall Motor’s innovative Hi4 system is also slated for release.

Interior and Technology

Inside the cabin, the new Haval H6 inherits the refined interior layout of its predecessor, featuring a 10.25-inch floating instrument panel and a 14.6-inch central control screen with a revamped user interface. The center console is streamlined, with most physical buttons replaced by intuitive touchscreen controls.

Powered by Coffee OS 2.0 and equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, the vehicle supports Huawei HiCar4.0, ensuring seamless connectivity and advanced functionality. Additional premium features include 50W wireless charging, a 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, and an array of more than 20 level 2 advanced driving assistance systems.

Cargo Capacity and More

The Haval H6 offers a generous standard trunk volume of 560 L, expandable to 1485 L by folding down the rear seats, providing ample storage space for various needs.
