KARACHI, May 8, 2025 – Atlas Honda has officially confirmed that the price of its most popular two-wheeler, the Honda CG 125, will remain unchanged at Rs234,900 as of May 8, 2025.
This consistency in pricing comes as welcome news for Pakistani consumers amid general inflation and volatility in the auto sector.
The Honda CG 125, often referred to simply as the Honda 125, remains a dominant player in Pakistan’s motorcycle market. First launched in Japan in 1976 and locally produced since 1992, the CG 125 is renowned for its durability, fuel efficiency, and easy maintenance. Powered by a 124cc four-stroke OHV engine, the 2025 model continues to reflect Honda’s philosophy of providing reliable performance for daily commuters and long-distance riders alike.
One of the most distinctive features of the Honda CG 125 is its Euro II compliant engine, offering a commendable fuel average of around 45 KM/L. The motorcycle is equipped with a 4-speed constant mesh transmission, a fuel tank capacity of 9.2 liters, and a dry weight of 100 kg. Its design remains true to the original frame but includes minor upgrades such as enhanced graphics and slightly modified rear indicators.
The CG 125 also features telescopic front forks and a swing arm rear suspension, making it a comfortable ride for all road conditions. Honda has focused on maintaining the vehicle’s reputation as a “tough roadmaster,” suited for both urban commuting and rural travel.
One key reason for the enduring popularity of the Honda CG 125 in Pakistan is its exceptional resale value. Due to the abundance of spare parts and mechanics familiar with its structure, buyers find it easy to maintain and sell at favorable prices. Even though other competitors like the Yamaha YBR 125, Road Prince 125, and Ravi Piaggio 125 offer additional features such as electric start and five-speed transmissions, the CG 125 remains unmatched in terms of affordability, ease of repair, and brand reliability.
For 2025, Honda has opted for stability rather than major design shifts, focusing on maintaining the CG 125’s legacy. For both new and seasoned riders, the Honda CG 125 continues to offer unmatched value, solidifying its place as a timeless classic in Pakistan’s two-wheeler segment.
