Honda Aircraft Company made a remarkable debut of their newest creation, the HondaJet Elite II, at the highly anticipated 2023 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland. From May 23-25, visitors to EBACE can witness the HondaJet Elite II in all its glory on display.
With an impressive range of up to 1,547 nautical miles, the Elite II solidifies the HondaJet’s position as the most fuel-efficient jet in its class. It surpasses other aircraft by flying longer distances while emitting lower carbon emissions. Honda Aircraft Company’s introduction of the HondaJet Elite II exemplifies its long-standing commitment to environmental preservation and sustainable aviation practices.
The HondaJet Elite II has already received type certification from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is anticipated to obtain European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certification soon. The global fleet of HondaJets has accumulated over 170,000 flight hours, with 230 aircraft currently in operation worldwide.
In Europe alone, there are presently 20 HondaJets actively serving the region. To further support its European customers, Honda Aircraft Company has expanded its authorized service center network and established a flight training center in Farnborough, UK.
As part of its dedication to carbon neutrality, Honda Aircraft Company has adopted the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Book and Claim (SAFC) Program for the HondaJet Elite II’s ferry flights to and from EBACE. This initiative promotes the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and aligns with the industry’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions.
Incorporating cutting-edge technology, unparalleled efficiency, and a focus on sustainability, the HondaJet Elite II takes center stage at EBACE 2023, signaling a promising future for the world of aviation.
